  Kultali is situated in Sundarban biosphere. Though the area is densely populated and there were seven feeders schools, there was no college in the year 2005. About the Principal

  A seasoned educator, Dr. Siuli Saha Dalal has a 41 year career in the education field. She has and continues to serve well-reputed institutions during this time. She started her career as Lecturer in Baruipur College, followed by Senior Lecturer and Associate Professor in Baruipur College. She joined Kultali Dr B R Ambedkar College in 2012 and since then she has always aimed to provide the students a healthy environment for academic and co-curricular activities along with academic progress, proper administration and development of infrastructure as the primary priority. Dr. Siuli Saha Dalal has been providing constant support towards meritorious and under-privileged students to overcome all the hardships.
  
  She specializes in Philosophy and has been awarded a University Gold Medal for her academic achievements in the field. She has authored a number of articles in various academic journals. She is a prominent administrator holding several positions in the academic realm. She is an eloquent speaker, poet and nature lover. She is a frequently invited at various prominent educational Seminars. She has also led and has been an integral part of various initiatives.

• Dear parents and students,
  Welcome to Kultali Dr. B. R. Ambedkar College, a dream project of intellectuals, students as well as the poor villagers to bring higher education to the locality. The college received its affiliation from the University of Calcutta and from the Government of West Bengal in the year 2005. It is located in Jalaberia, Kultali, South 24 Parganas. In this college the education encompasses much more than class room text book experience. The serene beauty, pollution free clean setting will nourish the mind and the recreation facilities will vitalise your faculties.

  The college through its faculty, staff, administration and well wishers is bound together by a common commitment to help and prepare all students to avail opportunities to meet challenges that lie ahead in today’s advanced technological and diverse society. The individual does not live within the circumscribed boundaries of his/her individual self; in fact he/she has a greater social accountability.
